Supergirl could be flying over to a new network. According to TheWrap, CBS boss Les Moonves is in talks with Warner Bros. Television over the freshman show. While the net would like it back next season, sources said the roughly $3 million per-episode price CBS pays to broadcast the show isn’t quite justified by the ratings. (Series debuted to 13 million total viewers, but lost half its audience over the season, according to Nielsen.) Moonves could move Supergirl to The CW, which is a joint venture between CBS and Warners. Supergirl would feel at home – CW already has The Flash and other superhero franchises.
