Leading lady Stana Katic and cast member Tamala Jones will not be joining ABC’s Castle for season nine. “Kate Beckett has been beloved character on our hit series Castle for the past eight years. We are grateful for Stana Katic’s talent and dedication to the series and we hope to continue our relationship,” said the net. “Tamala Jones has also been an integral part of the series and we are grateful for she was a part of Castle.” Said Katic, “Rather then distract from what was an amazing experience, I would just like to say that I’m very grateful to ABC for giving me the opportunity to be a part of a much beloved show. Through Friday, May 13, fans can submit their artwork to The Penny Dreadful Fan Art Competition on. Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson and Mel Gibson are joining forces for TV drama The Barbary Coast, from The Mark Gordon Company.
