The network said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski threatened to cause trouble for Megyn Kelly if she wasn’t removed as moderator. Lewandowski “was warned not to level any more threats, but he continued to do so,” said FNC. Trump was still welcome at the debate, added the network, “but he can’t dictate the moderators or the questions.” Responded Trump via Twitter: “I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!” Last word goes to Kelly, who told Extra on Wednesday, “I will be surprised he if doesn’t show up.”

Relativity TV is resurfacing under a new name. Veteran producer Tom Forman formally launched indie content studio Critical Content. Formed in October 2015, when an investor group led by Anchorage Capital Group purchased the TV assets of Relativity Media, the company will focus on unscripted and scripted content for broadcast, cable and digital platforms. Forman will serve as CEO and will partner with industry veteran Andrew Marcus, president/COO. Forman was previously CEO of Relativity TV and Marcus its President. The company is launching with no debt and $75 million of growth capital to fuel the expansion of its business. Critical Content has more than 50 projects in production for more than 30 networks including Limitless (CBS), Home Free (Fox), Catfish (MTV) and The Woodsmen (History).
