Wednesday’s shooting rampage in San Bernardino, CA, drew viewers to cable news networks in droves, according to Nielsen ratings. Fox News Channel averaged 3.8 million viewers in the time period, a 129 percent jump compared to the previous Wednesday, while CNN logged 2.6 million viewers between 2p Wednesday and 1a Thursday, a massive 280 percent increase, and MSNBC averaged 1 million viewers, an 111 percent increase vs. the prior week.
