ABC Family launched a summer sampling strategy yesterday that will make all the net’s new summer series available for sampling across digital, social and physical platforms. “We are eventizing the entire summer and offering a massive sampling campaign to showcase our new shows,” said Nigel Cox-Hagan, SVP marketing, creative and branding. Digital premieres on EW.com (Stitchers), HRC.org (Becoming Us), Facebook (Kevin From Work) and Tumblr (Job or No Job, Next Step Realty, Monica the Medium and Startup U) are part of the game plan.

Turner has extended its deal to broadcast the American Film Institute’s annual AFI Lifetime Achievement Award gala tribute on TNT or TBS through 2018, with encores on Turner Movie Classics.
