Will Ferrell will appear at five Arizona spring training baseball games and play nine positions today, in a stunt for a Funny or Die special airing later this month on HBO. Ferrell Takes the Field, in partnership with Major League Baseball, honors Bert Campaneris’ feat 50 years ago of playing every position on the field; the special will also be dedicated the fight against cancer. “This latest collaboration is one of those things only Will could pull off,” said Michael Lombardo, president, HBO programming.
