The Hollywood Film Awards has found a TV home on CBS. The ceremony, honoring excellence in filmmaking, airs Friday, November 14 at 8p, preceded at 7:30p with a red carpet pre-show and topped off with a 10p post-show. The CeeLo Green drama continues. TBS has canceled his reality show, CeeLo Green’s The Good Life. The decision comes after the former judge of NBC‘s The Voice posted a series of controversial statements on Twitter over the weekend about rape. Women’s rights group UltraViolet called on TBS parent company Time Warner to stop Green’s series. “This is a huge victory for women and survivors of rape and sexual assault,” said Shaunna Thomas, co-founder of UltraViolet.

Piers Morgan has officially left CNN. The former host of Piers Morgan Live, which aired its final episode in March, announced the news on Twitter Tuesday morning, noting that he turned down a two-year deal from CNN president Jeff Zucker to host “40 big interview specials.” Morgan added that he had “huge respect” for Zucker and his co-workers at CNN, but had decided to “try pastures new.”
