A former intern at The Late Show with David Letterman filed a class action complaint, on behalf of herself and everyone else who has been an intern on the show, against CBS Broadcasting, CBS Corp. and Worldwide Pants. The complaint seeks “all compensation, including minimum wages and overtime compensation, which they were deprived of, plus interest, and attorney’s fees and costs.” An intern in 2008, Mallory Musallam’s contention that the show was in violation of New York State Labor Law mirrors similar recent claims in the media business.
