Fox is offering two live feeds of Utopia ahead of the reality series’ debut, showing 14 “pioneers” prepare for the year-long experience of creating their own society. Viewing is free, with enhanced content for paid subscribers. Utopia, based on the Dutch show of the same name, launches Sunday, September 7; Tuesday, September 9, and Friday, September 12 at 8p, continuing on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8p. And there’s drama already: announced contestant Andrea Cox got the boot before the premiere, reportedly for violations of the show’s confidentiality agreement.

Taylor Swift joins season 7 of NBC’s The Voice, working with contestants coached by returning Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, reports Us Weekly. Swift’s fifth album drops October 27; The Voice returns Monday, September 22 at 8p.

The Wil Wheaton Project will not be returning to Syfy, according to…Wil Wheaton. In a blog post, the Star Trek: The Next Generation actor said he was informed that “the executives in New York just didn’t think we had enough viewers to justify more episodes.” Rather than attempt a letter-writing campaign to revive the summer series, Wheaton urged fans to “instead put that energy into something else, like getting #butts to trend.” Wheaton talked trending pop culture topics in the weekly comedy, which concluded August 12.

Chelsea Clinton announced Friday she’s leaving her job of almost three years as special correspondent at NBC News. In a Facebook post, the former First Daughter, pregnant with her first child, said she wanted to focus on her work with the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. “While she will be missed, we look forward to working with her in the future,” said SVP of NBC News Alex Wallace.

ABC fundraiser MDA Show of Strength hit .2/1 in the A18-49 demo Sunday night to match last year’s number, according to preliminary Nielsens. The event raised over $52 million. The net’s Wipeout dropped 25 percent, to .6/3, for a series low, while CBS’s Reckless rebounded from its own series low to jump 80 percent in the ratings, to .9/3.
