HBO nabbed the most awards at the Creative Arts Emmys Saturday night. NBC was second with ten – including five for Saturday Night Live, the most for any series while PBS brought home eight and Fox and Netflix each won seven. Among the winners: Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba for Outstanding Guest Actress, Hollywood Game Night’s Jane Lynch for Outstanding Host for a Reality Program, Discovery’s Deadliest Catch for Unstructured Reality Program, Shark Tank for Structured Reality Program and Showtime’s Years of Living Dangerously for Outstanding Documentary. A two-hour edited version of the presentation airs Sunday, August 24 on FXX, the day before the live 66th Annual Primetime Emmys on NBC.

Craig Ferguson is in final negotiations to host a syndicated talker for Tribune Media in a 7p time slot. Ferguson announced in April that he would leave CBS’s Late Late Show in December; he hosts syndicated game show Celebrity Name Game starting in fall 2015.

After a promo photo for period drama Downton Abbey made headlines because it showed an historically inaccurate plastic water bottle on the mantelpiece beside Lord Grantham and Lady Edith, ITV released another photo of the cast, all holding bottles, in support of the charity WaterAid. “The cast and crew came up with the idea of turning some of this attention towards an issue around water that really matters,” said a statement. Season five of Downton premieres Stateside in January 2015.

BET is launching its largest prize giveaway ever. Grand prize: a “BET We Got You Season Pass,” for six all-expense-paid trips to each BET award show and events in 2015 (2015: BET Honors, Black Girls Rock!, BET Awards, Hip Hop Awards,Soul Train Awards and the BET Experience).
