You’ll have to stay up a little later to catch CBS‘s Extant. After slipping to a 1.1 A18-49 rating in Live + Same Day viewing with a Big Brother lead-in, the summer series starring Halle Berry will move from 9p to 10p on Wednesdays, swapping with Criminal Minds repeats. Not surprisingly, the net’s keeping an eye on Live + 7: Extant’s debut got a 50 percent lift among A18-49.

Jay Leno mentors the first finals round on NBC‘s Last Comic Standing. The five remaining contestants are whisked to Las Vegas for a surprise meeting with the former Tonight Show host on the episode airing Thursday, July 31 at 10p. Season finale is August 14.

Four episodes of Mark & Derek’s Excellent Flip will track the progress of the guys as they gut and rehab a SoCal house for profit. CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, airing Tuesday, August 5 at 8p, features stadium performances by hosts Little Big Town, as well as Tim McGraw with guest Faith Hill, Jake Owen, Darius Rucker and Zac Brown Band with guest Richie Sambora. Events were filmed at the CMA musicfest in June.
