The Daytime Emmy Awards couldn’t find a TV home, but they found a host. Comedian Kathy Griffin will emcee the shindig, to be live-streamed from the Beverly Hilton ballroom Sunday, June 22. “I can only hope that at the end of the evening, critics and fans alike will compare it to the experience they once had watching Neil Armstrong take man’s first step on the moon,” said Griffin.

Casey Kasem, best known as host of radio program American Top 40 from 1970-2009, died June 15 at age 82. He had suffered from Lewy Body Disease, a form of dementia. Kasem also provided the voices for numerous TV commercials and cartoon characters, including Shaggy in Scooby-Doo.

Fox yanked I Wanna Marry Harry and Riot from its Tuesday sked, replacing them with repeats of comedies Family Guy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl and The Mindy Project. Harry and Riot pulled a .4 rating/1 share on Tuesday, the lowest ratings ever for an original series on the Big Four. Fox will make unaired eps of Harry available on Fox.com, Fox on Demand, FOX NOW and Hulu starting this afternoon.
