HBO vampire drama True Blood could morph into a musical. Series composer Nathan Barr told the Associated Press at an event Tuesday night that he’s pitched the idea to HBO and show creator Alan Ball, and hopes to present a workshop version of the show next year. Jay Leno landed the 17th annual Mark Twain Prize for American humor, to be presented at a gala at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC on October 19.
