It took less than a day for LeVar Burton to reach his Kickstarter goal of $1 million to revive children’s educational show Reading Rainbow for the web. The Roots star had hosted and exec produced the show during its 1983-2006 TV run. “Grateful,” tweeted Burton on Wednesday night.

Viacom teamed with Mariska Hargitay‘s Joyful Heart Foundation for PSAs raising awareness for NO MORE, fighting domestic violence and sexual assault. The spots, directed by Hargitay (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit), feature Viacom-connected celebs including Dave Navarro (Ink Masters), Nick Lachey (Big Morning Buzz), and others. Viacom president and CEO Philippe Dauman, honored at a Joyful Heart gala last night, said Viacom is “proud to focus our megaphones on helping to end the stigma, shame and silence of domestic violence and sexual assault.”

Fox‘s So You Think You Can Dance returned for season 11 on Wednesday with pop star Justin Bieber guesting.
