The Asylum is asking Sharknado fans to dig into their wallets to help finance bonus footage for its sequel to the social media smash. Partnering with crowd-funding platform Indiegogo, the production company aims to raise $50,000 by May 30, to give a chainsaws-and-sharks scene on Sharknado 2: The Second One “the treatment it deserves.” Incentives range from t-shirts to a chance for a walk-on role in the movie, airing July 30 on Syfy.
