CBS is tired of The Good Wife being shut out of the Emmy nominations and doing something about it: namely, addressing the broadcast versus cable disparity. According to The Hollywood Reporter, included in CBS’ Emmy mailer is a page that highlights the number of episodes each of this year’s main drama contenders produce per season, pointing out that series like Mad Men (seven episodes), True Detective (eight) and Breaking Bad (eight) lag way behind The Good Wife’s 22 hours.

It’s the ultimate bye-bye to Barbara. All 11 co-hosts of ABC‘s The View, past and present, will share the stage live on Thursday, May 15 at 11a to celebrate the show’s creator Barbara Walters. The following day, Walters makes her final co-host appearance on the daily talk show. Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Joy Behar, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck will join Sherri Shepherd, Jenny McCarthy, Whoopi Goldberg and Walters for the final adieu.

AXS TV host Dan Rather is producing a new series of documentary specials focusing on the nation’s most challenging issues. Dan Rather Presents premieres Tuesday, May 6 at 8p. The first episode, One Way Ticket to Nowhere: America’s Mental Health Crisis, takes an in-depth look at how the nation is dealing with the mentally ill.
