The Asylum is asking Sharknado fans to dig into their wallets to help finance bonus footage for its sequel to the social media smash. Partnering with crowd-funding platform Indiegogo, the production company aims to raise $50,000 by May 30, to give a chainsaws-and-sharks scene on Sharknado 2: The Second One “the treatment it deserves.” Incentives range from t-shirts to a chance for a walk-on role in the movie, airing July 30 on Syfy.

Choosing Stephen Colbert to replace David Letterman on Late Show was a no-brainer, according to Les Moonves. “We knew he would be the greatest replacement for David we could ever get,” the CBS CEO said on The Early Show Friday. “And when I called Dave to ask for his blessing he said exactly the same thing.” Less than thrilled? Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, who called the appointment “a declared war on the heartland of America.”
