Sasheer Zamata wasn’t the only talent discovered during Saturday Night Live‘s search for an African-American female cast member. LaKendra Tookes and Leslie Jones were impressive enough during auditions to be been hired as SNL writers and start Monday, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Zamata’s first on-air appearance on the late-night NBC sketch show is January 18.

Nancy Kerrigan will return to the Olympics as a figure skating analyst for NBC in Sochi. The former Olympian, who won a silver medal in 1994, seven weeks after being attacked with a baton, will also make appearances on other NBCUniversal shows. The Olympics begin Friday, February 6.

The Fashion Police feud may be cooling down. After an official NLRB election, E! said Wednesday it is ready to negotiate with the Writers Guild over the show’s striking writers, who want to be repped by Guild. “We continue to believe that the secret ballot election was vital to protecting the rights of all Fashion Police writers,” E! said in a statement to The Wrap.

Pretty Little Liars‘ Tuesday winter premiere on ABC Family at 8p was Tuesday’s number one telecast in W18-34 (900,000/2.7 rating), viewers 12-34 (2.1 million/2.3) and Females 12-34 (1.8 million/3.9). At 9p, Ravenswood was TV’s top telecast in Females 12-24 (951,000/2.1), and cable’s number one telecast in W18-34 (508,000/1.5).

The Haves and the Have Nots season two premiere on Tuesday delivered 2.8 million total viewers, becoming the most-watched season premiere in OWN history across all key demos. The sudsy drama posted double-digit growth in W25-54 (up 59 percent) and total viewers (up 57 percent) versus the season one premiere in May, and was the number two telecast in OWN history among W25-54, after Oprah’s Next Chapter with Bobbi Kristina in March 2011.

MTV‘s Teen Wolf returned for the second half of season three on Monday for its most-watched telecast ever, delivering 2.4 million total viewers. Its 2.3 rating among P12-34 matched the series high. Follow-up show Wolf Watch held over 60 percent of its lead-in, for a 1.4 P12-34 rating.
