Netflix released results of a study that said binge-watching doesn’t keep viewers on the couch – it can actually get them on the treadmill. In a survey conducted by the streaming service, 45 percent of respondents said they would be more motivated to exercise if they could watch their favorite shows on-demand, commercial-free. Favorite genre to jog to? Thirty-six percent of respondents said sitcoms.

Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN network acquired television rights to the 2013 film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom from the Weinstein Company, for a window beginning in 2017. “Nelson Mandela was Oprah’s hero, and ultimately, the inspiration behind Oprah’s school in South Africa,” said OWN president Erik Logan. “His story of forgiveness and redemption is a gift not only to the people he touched, but to the world.”
