Phil Robertson has been suspended from A&E mega hit Duck Dynasty, following anti-gay comments he made in the January 2014 issue of GQ magazine comparing homosexuality to bestiality. “We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” said the network via a statement. “His personal views in no way reflect those of A&E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

The months of speculation are over. Katie, the daily talker starring Katie Couric, has been officially canceled. The show’s last airdate will be in June 2014, following the end of its second season in syndication. Disney-ABC and Couric announced the news jointly, saying it was a mutual decision.
