ABC gave a thumbs up – with full-season orders – to The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife, issuing a less hearty order of four more episodes to Super Fun Night. Back In the Game has not been picked up, but will finish out the remainder of its 13 episodes. Goldbergs, Fun and Game all scored a 1.7 rating in A18-49 last week, but Goldbergs was the only show to build on its lead-in. Wife earned a 1.4 in the demo but is the only show owned by the network.

Lifetime canceled Sony Pictures Television drama The Client List after two seasons. Although there were reports that tension over star Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s storyline hastened the axe, ratings didn’t help  the season two finale drew 2 million viewers, down from 2.7 million for season one.

Sprinkles Cupcakes is teaming with CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, about aspiring cupcake mavens, for November 10’s National Vanilla Cupcake Day (yes, there is such a thing). From November 1-15, Sprinkles is offering 2 Broke Not So Vanilla cupcakes. “We liked the idea of putting a Broke twist on National Vanilla Cupcake Day,” said Lisa Gregorian, Chief Marketing Officer, Warner Bros. Television Group. Broke airs Mondays at 8:30p.

Crossover alert: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue the story told in Marvel/Disney movie Thor: The Dark World, opening November 8. “In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film,” said Marvel, “Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces.” Episode airs Tuesday, November 19.

With an assist from Charlie Brown Thursday, ABC won the opening night of November Sweeps for the first time since 2007 in the A18-49 demo. Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy were the top two shows of the night. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown delivered ABC’s best numbers in the time period in a year, though it down was almost 20 percent versus its 2012 airing.

ABC‘s Shark Tank was once again the number one show on Friday night in A18-49, posting 1.9/6. At 8p, the net’s Last Man Standing drew 1.4/5 in the demo, up one tenth, equaling its highest rating this season.

NBC got off to a weak start Friday, according to early numbers, with special Why We (Heart) Vampires posting .7 in A18-49. Grimm dropped three tenths from its premiere to earn a 1.5 in the demo, and Dracula lost half a point, earning a 1.3.
