Queen Latifah isn’t planning on playing it safe with her new Sony Pictures Television daytime talker, The Queen Latifah Show, debuting today. “I’m naturally a bit edgier than typical daytime,” she admitted to Time. “I kind of want to push things a little bit further, as far as I can, respectfully, within the daytime space.”

Woody Allen will be honored at the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards with the 2014 Cecil B.
