Kris, the one-hour Twentieth Television talker starring the oft black-and-white-clad Kris Jenner will premiere on Monday, July 15th and there’s already more buzz than what usually surrounds a six-week entry into the already-crowded talk show arena (which is not surprising, given the heat that always seems to emanate from anything Kardashian). Executive Producer Robert Lifton tells Cynopsis that the nattering about Jenner objecting to having co-hosts is not to be paid attention to. “She wanted to have co-hosts from the get-go, ” says Lifton. “It’s an important part of the show and she’s 100% behind it. She’ll have a foil with whom she can talk about what she did the night before, like a West Coast Kelly & Michael.” For now, the show will air on select FOX stations including Fox 5 in New York, Fox 11 in Los Angeles, Fox 9 Minneapolis, Fox 10 Phoenix, Fox 4 Dallas, and Fox 46 Carolinas. After the six weeks, expect Fox and Twentieth to decide the show’s future.
