Jenny McCarthy could be headed to the couch at ABC‘s The View. It’s been reported that the comedian is in serious talks to join the show as a panelist, when it returns for its 17th season this fall. McCarthy is no stranger to the show, having been a regular guest co-host. Plus, she has experience on the talk show front, having hosted The Jenny McCarthy Show on VH1. McCarthy would fill the spot left vacant by Joy Behar, who is leaving the show when her contract expires in August. The news comes on the heels of Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s reported exit for Fox News.
