FOX Broadcasting Company has announced that it will widen the availability of content developed by WIGS, the number one channel for scripted drama on YouTube, to include the free, ad-supported Hulu.com and Hulu Plus subscription service. Beginning Tuesday, June 18, WIGS’ most popular drama, Blue, which stars Julia Stiles and recently surpassed 20 million views, will be offered to Hulu viewers in longer-form, TV-length episodes. Additional popular series, including Lauren and Jan, will become available on Hulu and Hulu Plus over the coming weeks.

FX has cast John Hurt in The Strain, the pilot based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and author Chuck Hogan. Hurt will portray Professor Abraham Setrakian, a holocaust survivor who immigrated to the United States after World War II and now runs a pawn shop in Spanish Harlem.
