Netflix has inked an agreement with DreamWorks Animation for exclusive access to more than 300 hours of new programming. Under the terms of the multi-year pact, DreamWorks will produce original series for the video streaming giant based on the studio’s characters and franchises. The deal is Netflix’s largest ever for original content. The two companies did not disclose the financial terms of the pact.

NBC News has greenlit an exclusive, hour-long documentary chronicling Valerie Harper‘s battle with a rare terminal cancer. Hosted by Meredith Vieira and produced by NBC News’ Peacock Productions, this first-person account captures Harper’s journey as she undergoes experimental treatments and spends time with her husband Tony Cacciotti and their daughter Christina. Since being diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis on March 6, 2013 Harper has allowed camera crews unprecedented access into her life to help tell her story. From doctors’ visits to surgeries and reunions with family and friends, the documentary takes an intimate look inside Harper’s world. The special will air on NBC on primetime. An airdate has yet to be announced.

E! is teaming up with Live Nation to give viewers a backstage pass to a day-in-the-life with some of the hottest musical artists and bands as they prepare for a performance along their US tour. Showcased exclusively on E! News, and on Eonline’s dedicated digital hub (www.eonline.com), E!’s Inside Track Summer Concert Series kicks off on Friday, June 21 at 7p with the Pitbull and Ke$ha concert in Detroit. Other performers to be featured include: Brad Paisley in Tampa; Jonas Brothers in Chicago; Backstreet Boys in Chicago; New Kids on The Block in Detroit; Big Time Rush in Phoenix; and Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls in St. Louis.

It’s going to be a sizzling summer on MTV2. Things get started on Tuesday, June 25 at 11p with the one-hour special Wild ‘N Out Wildest Moments, as Nick Cannon and friends count down the top 10 moments in Wild ‘N Out history. The one-hour special will also introduce fans to the new cast of Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out, which premieres on Tuesday, July 9 at 11p, along with sneak peeks of the season ahead.

Disney Channel has greenlit Girl Meets World, a spinoff of the 1990s ABC sitcom Boy Meets World. The series will star Rowan Blanchard as Riley Matthews, the young daughter of Cory and Topanga. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles as parents in the new sitcom, which is slated to premiere in 2014.

Reggie Watts, Miles Fisher and Mike Castle have been tapped to star in the Comedy Central pilot Bad Advice from My Brother. The half-hour series is based on Jordan Pope Roush‘s blog of the same name. Fisher will play big brother Jason. Castle will play younger brother Ben. Watts will portray their neighbor Reggie.

Billy Porter, the Tony Award-winning star of Kinky Boots, appears on the season finale of Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on Thursday, June 20 at 11p. Also appearing on the episode is comedian/rapper Zach “MC Mr. Napkins” Sherwin, who will perform an original rap number. Totally Biased will return in September on FXX.
