Do the Hustle: National music net Fuse is tossing its hat into scripted programming with The Hustle, about an underground rap duo trying to break into the world of hip-hop. The six-episode series, created and exec-produced by Prentice Penny (Happy Endings, Scrubs, Girlfriends), premieres Wednesday, June 19 (11pm/10c).  The Hustle was developed by Generate, an Alloy Digital-owned production and talent management company.

AT&T, Ford and State Farm are on board as sponsors of Telemundo Media’s new singing competition La Voz Kids. The show premiered Monday to 1.7 million total viewers, 873,000 among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen data, ranking as the No. 1 reality premiere in the network’s history. The series airs Sundays at 7p.m. (ET) on Telemundo. AT&T will become the official voting partner for the show, and the winner will receive a recording contract with Universal Music and a $50,000 prize presented by AT&T to help support his or her education.

Spike TV is picking up the show, which is about to wrap an abbreviated 25th season on FOX, and will begin airing it in the fall in its same 8p Saturday time slot. A FOX renewal was not expected; the network is bringing in more sports to its Saturday-night time slots. Cops, created by John Langely, began airing in March 1989.

Cee Lo Green couldn’t stay away from NBC‘s The Voice for very long. He returns tomorrow (May 8) not only to the judge’s chair, but also to perform his new single Only You.
