Fashion Strike-out?  It’s all a matter of opinion. The writers of E!‘s Fashion Police are on strike and at a standoff with both E! and Rugby Productions, the production company owned by FP star Joan Rivers. The strike, sanctioned by the Writers Guild of America, alleges that while Fashion Police is one of the network’s highest-rated shows, its writers lack health and pension benefits, residuals, and industry-standard compensation. The writers are insisting they be covered by a Guild agreement and compensated appropriately. E! Brass responded that they are ready to sit down and negotiate with WGA representatives, while Rivers has repeatedly said she supports the writers and wants them to have a fair deal.
