Up All Night had posted an average 1.3 rating with A18-49 on Thursdays at 830p.

With Tyler Perry producing two scripted shows on OWN, it seems to be a whole new world for the network, which is known for its real-life, timely interviews with the likes of Lance Armstrong. So how does one explain the swing between such different focuses? OWN President Sheri Salata (who serves along with Prez Erik Logan) has the answer. “It’s not all that different from the Oprah show,” says Salata. “It’s a wide lane; through the lens of Oprah’s intention, you can just about do anything. The network showed its beating heart last year, and now we want some funnies. That’s where Tyler comes in.”

Logo is taking the anti-Valentine’s tack with a prime time block on the 14th called “Logo’s Bloody Valentine’s Thursday,” says Marc Leonard, Logo TV’s Senior Vice President of Multiplatform Programming. The reason? “Romantic movies have not done fantastically well for us,” says Leonard. “Our audience likes fun and entertainment.” Hence their decision to run Idle Hands and then a three-hour presentation of Interview with a Vampire, which earned a .16 rating on the fledgling network the last time it ran. “It’s one of the five highest-rated movies of all time for us,” Leonard says.
