ABC’s live broadcast of “The Oscars” on Sunday from 830-1140p attracted an average audience of 40.3 million total viewers and delivered a 13.0 rating among A18-49, based on Nielsen’s Fast National ratings.  This year’s Oscars has become TV’s most-watched entertainment telecast in three years and the Seth MacFarlane-hosted show also scored generous year-to-year gains with A18-34 viewers (+20% – 11.3 rating vs. 9.4 rating).

E!’s three-hour Live from the Red Carpet: The 2013 Academy Awards from 530-830p averaged close to 3.7 million total viewers and 1.9 million among A18-49.  These totals are up +3% and +8% respectively over the Red Carpet coverage for the 2012 Academy Awards.

Following the success of primetime series Love It or List It in its fifth season, HGTV is premiering a spinoff series Love It or List It Too featuring Jillian Harris, interior designer and season 5 star of The Bachelorette.  Beginning Monday, March 4 at 11p and airing every Monday, 26 one-hour episodes follow Harris and real estate agent Todd Talbot as they compete for homeowners’ final decision to remain in their home or buy a new one.  This Friday at 8p, HGTV premieres another new series – Auction Agent – starring Missouri State Auction Champ Christie Hatman in five half-hour episodes.  HGTV has also renewed Hawaii Life and Scoring the Deal for second seasons.
