E! will expand its weekly comedic offerings by premiering its dating spoof show Burning Love on February 25 at 10p during its Mock Block Monday programming block.  The show, which began as a web sensation, follows charismatic and shallow Mark Orlando (Ken Marino) as he begins a journey to find his true love on reality TV.  The weekly series consists of seven half-hour episodes.  Comedians from film and television such as Kristen Bell, Adam Scott, Malin Akerman and Michael Ian Black as well as special appearances from Ben Stiller (also executive producer), Christine Taylor and Jennifer Aniston are also slated to appear.  The series is distributed and produced by Paramount’s Insurge Pictures and executive produced by Red Hour’s Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld and Mike Rosenstein, Abominable Pictures’ Jonathan Stern, Ken Marino and Erica Oyama.

New for Fuse, the national music television network of The Madison Square Garden Company is launching Fuse News.  The new flagship show will relate important stories in the world of music with round-the-clock coverage.  The daily half-hour show begins February 6 at 8p and will be led by anchors Alexa Chung and Matte Babel who will work with senior contributing correspondents Jack Osbourne, Elaine Moran and Liz Walaszczyk.  Fuse News plans on extensive coverage for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards with multiple specials airing February 6-8 and a Live at the Grammys: Fuse News special on February 10 and a weekend round-up of Grammy moments and interviews on February 11.  Fuse News will air weeknights at 8p under the helm of producing consultant and senior executive producer, Rick Kaplan.

TLC brings back a fourth season of My Strange Addiction starting February 13 at 10p.  The series explores peculiar lifestyles and addictions in each of the eight half-hour episodes.  20 West Productions produces the series for TLC.

Later next month A&E Network’s most-watched series Duck Dynasty returns with a third season starting February 27 with double episode premieres at 9p and 930p.  A&E tallied a record 6.5 million total viewers for its season two finale on December 5, 2012.  Duck Dynasty is produced for A&E by Gurney Productions.

The season premiere of Spartacus: War of the Damned on STARZ last Friday at 9p attracted 930,000 total viewers followed by 469,000 total viewers for the encore at 10p and another 443,000 total viewers for the 11p repeat.  The premiere generated a total of 1.84 million for the night, based on Live+SD.

Sunday night’s live simulcast of the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on TNT and TBS amassed a total of 5.2 million viewers as well as more than 2.1 million among A18-49.  TNT and TBS also announced a new three-year deal with SAG-AFTRA to air SAG Awards.

Former West Wing star Allison Janney was cast in Chuck Lorre’s comedy pilot Mom for CBS starring Anna Faris as a newly sober single mom who tries to pull her life back together in the Napa Valley.  The multi-camera project is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions with Warner Bros. Television, where Lorre has a long-term deal.
