Cancelled ABC daytime series All My Children and One Life to Live may be resurrected online by Prospect Park, the company that had planned to relaunch both series online following their cancellations by the network in 2011.  Reportedly Prospect Park has made a deal with SAG-AFTRA that could bring the series back online as soon as January.  Prospect Park is also apparently in talks with the DGA and the WGA.  Prospect Park is additionally in talks with actors from both All My Children and One Life to Live to return for the new online versions.  There is no word on which actors though may reprise their roles.

Nielsen and Twitter are partnering on a multi-year deal that will deliver a syndicated-standard metric to measure social TV audiences.  Nielsen Twitter TV Rating will likely be commercially available at the beginning of the Fall 2013-14 season.  These ratings will use NM Incite’s SocialGuide audience engagement analytics platform as its base.  NM Incite is a joint venture of Nielsen and McKinsey & Co.  SocialGuide measures Twitter TV activity for all US programming across 234 channels in English and Spanish and more than 36,000 programs.

A new 10-hour/five-part docu-drama series The Bible is set to premiere on HISTORY March 3 at 8p.  The series is created and executive produced by producer Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and features the stories of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation told in live-action and state-of-the-art CGI.  Keith David will narrate the series which will also feature a music score by composer Hans Zimmer.  Downey will additionally play Mother Mary and Portuguese TV star Diogo Morgado will play Jesus.  Other UK-based actors include Sean Teale, David Rintoul, Amber Rose Revah, Peter Guinness, Greg Hicks and Simon Kunz.

Destination America debuts a new series Food Factory that goes behind the scenes to see how many of America’s most iconic products are made.  Food Factory looks at such brands and products as Dubble Bubble gum, Planters peanuts, Dannon yogurt, Campbell’s soup and more.  Radio personality and Destination America veteran Jon Hein (The Howard Stern Show) will narrate the 26-episode series which premieres on January 14 with back-to-back episodes at 10p and 1030p.  Food Factory is produced by Cineflix Productions.

A third season of Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? is back on WE tv’s schedule beginning February 23 at 9p.  The new season with eight one-hour episodes has Joan still living in Melissa’s L.A. home though several guests will make appearances including Jane Lynch, Lily  Tomlin, Ellie Kemper, Kelly Osbourne, Graham Norton, Kato Kaelin and Chris Harrison.  Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? is produced for WE tv by Pie Town Productions.

The season seven finale of Dexter on Showtime on Sunday now ranks as the highest-rated episode ever for a Showtime original series.  Dexter attracted 2.75 million viewers at 9p and pulled in 3.43 million total viewers for the night.  Then at 10p, the second season finale of Homeland attracted 2.3 million viewers and 2.7 million total viewers for the night.

HBO is teaming with filmmaker Martin Scorsese on a documentary about former President Bill Clinton.  Scorsese will produce and direct the telepic which is being made with President Clinton’s full cooperation.  The documentary will cover President Clinton’s perspectives on history, politics, culture and world from the time he was in office to the present.  Steve Bing will serve as producer.  This is Scorsese’s fourth collaboration with HBO.
