MTV has a new docu-series Washington Heights set to debut with double episodes on January 9 at 10p. The one-hour series is set in the diverse New York neighborhood of Washington Heights following nine best friends from the area. Washington Heights will also air internationally next year on MTV channels worldwide. The 11-episode series is produced by Gigantic! Productions for MTV.

Gay TV network Here TV is producing new Broadway-inspired videos titled The Advocate’s Seat Filler that will become regular feature segments on the network’s series Just Josh. The segments are produced in conjunction with The Advocate and Advocate.com and will also run as stand-alone videos across Here Media’s websites: Advocate.com, OUT.com, SheWired.com, Gay.com and Gay.net. The videos are hosted by Josh Rosenzweig and will highlight Broadway shows such as Annie, Elf, Chaplin, The Anarchist, Bare and more.
