Fans of detective drama series Sherlock headlined by Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman may have to wait for season three to premiere on PBS in late 2013 – or even early 2014. Production on the third cycle has been moved from January to March and the reason, according to reports, is due to the stars’ busy schedules. Cumberbatch is set to star in Star Trek 2 while Freeman stars in The Hobbit. In the UK, BBC has not yet announced the premiere date for season three though fans there were hoping for a summer launch. BBC may debut Sherlock in late 2013 and PBS is allowed to air the series after BBC’s window.
