WE tv’s upcoming original series Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual will premiere the first of 12 episodes on January 12 at 9p. A second new episode will follow at 930p. Each half-hour episode will allow viewers access into the personal and professional life of pop culture icon, Cyndi Lauper who is also a wife, mother, Broadway composer, best-selling author and philanthropist. MSNBC will bow the first episode of the new series, Chained to My Ex on December 23 at 9p. The series is from MSNBC’s documentary unit that partnered with the creator of the series Intervention. The series will spotlight men and women who are divorced but still have to live together. MSNBC will air additional episodes of the series at a future date. Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is sticking around MTV as the network approved a new hybrid talk show/reality series, The Show With Vinny produced by SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions. The series will move the typical talk show format out of the studio and into Vinny Guadagnino’s family home in Staten Island, NY. There, Vinny will conduct off-the-cuff and unscripted interviews with stars who are invited to dine at his house. The series will also feature real people from Vinny’s personal life such as his mother Paula and his Uncle Nino and more.
