Also renewed for a second season is E!’s Married to Jonas produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions. The next season will follow musician Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle (Dani) as the Jonas Brothers finish their new album and go back on tour for the first time in three years. Dani additionally tries her hand at opening her own business back in New Jersey. The second season of Married to Jonas will debut next spring on E!.

Eight more episodes of Mario Lopez: One-On-One were approved by nuvoTV. The series, featuring Mario Lopez as host, as he conducts exclusive and intimate interviews with today’s top Latinos. Upcoming episodes focus on George Lopez on November 29 and Gloria and Emilio Estefan on December 7. Production is underway on the remaining episodes. In addition, nuvoTV is partnering with DISH Network on a national promotion surrounding Maria Lopez: One-On-One. The multi-faceted campaign began November 7 and continues through December 5, accessing DISH’s 14 million subscribers.

Last Saturday’s season two premiere of Redneck Island on CMT has become the network’s highest-rated series premiere in its history. Redneck Island delivered a 0.75 rating with A18-49 viewers and tallied 1.4 million total viewers, based on early Nielsen reporting.

MTV2 is working with comedian, actor and host, Nick Cannon and his NCredible Entertainment to retool his sketch comedy and improv series, Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out. The improv comedy show will launch next year and begin a search for the next generation of comedians. Aspiring comedians can visit http://NCredible.com for casting and open audition information. Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out originally aired on MTV from 2005-07 featuring up-and-coming comics and specials guests who participate in improv battles.

Rob Marciano was tapped as Co-Anchor for the syndicated magazine show Entertainment Tonight from CBS Television Distribution. Rob will co-anchor the show with Nancy O’Dell starting January 2013. Prior to this new gig, Rob was with CNN News Group where he has been a news and weather anchor since 2003. He had also worked across the CNN Network as a field correspondent and substitute anchor.
