The season three premiere of The Walking Dead has become the largest telecast for any drama series in basic cable history among all viewers.

Next Monday, MTV debuts a new hidden camera game show, Totally Clueless at 7p followed by a special week of all-new daily episodes of Money From Strangers at 730p airing Monday-Friday. MTV will additionally air a 24-hour prank marathon this Saturday starting at 2p. Hosted by comedian Jeff Dye of Money From Strangers, the marathon will include back-to-back episodes of Rob Dyrdek’s Ridiculousness, Money From Strangers and Pranked. Totally Clueless is produced by One Louder Productions; Mondy From Strangers is from Lion TV; Ridiculousness is produced by Dickhouse; and Pranked is from Cheri Sundae Productions.

Saturday nights on CMT brings back a second season of Redneck Island starting November 10 at 9p followed by the premieres of two new series Chainsaw Gang at 10p and Big Texas Heat at 1030p. Redneck Island watches as fourteen people gather on pro wrestling hall of famer Steve Austin’s tropical island for a chance to win $100,000. Chainsaw Gang features chainsaw artist Stacy Poitras who leads a group of chainsaw artists that battle it out to create works of art. New series Big Texas Heat follows the on and off-duty activities of the police department in the small town of Trinity, TX.

Rachel Zoe, star of the Bravo unscripted series The Rachel Zoe Project is involved as executive producer of a half-hour, single-camera scripted comedy based on her life for NBC, reports THR. Zoe’s husband Rodger Berman is also attached as an EP. Aseem Batra (Animal Practice, Scrubs) will write the pilot script with Todd Holland (30 Rock, Go On) on board to direct. Batra will also be an EP with Zoe and Berman in addition to BermanBraun’s Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun and Dark Toy’s Holland and Karey Burke. Universal TV is producing.

MTV aimed to promote the upcoming relaunch of MTV2’s This Week in Jams with a movie marathon this past weekend on MTV. The network was slated to air flicks such as How High, Notorious and 8 Miles as part of its “A Hip-Hop Homecoming Weekend.” This Week in Jams is scheduled to premiere on October 28 at 11a on MTV2. The show is a relaunch of Sucker Free Countdown and will include news, music, and talk in the hip-hop world as well as music.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network plans to premiere new docu-series Married to the Army: Alaska November 18 at 10p before moving it to its regular time on Mondays at 10p starting November 19. The series covers the lives of army wives living in Alaska whose husbands are in Afghanistan. Prior to the premiere, OWN has slated a two-hour special Oprah’s Favorite Things: 2012, marking the return of a popular Oprah franchise to air before the holiday season.

Actor, TV show host and former master of ceremonies for the Miss America Pageant, Gary Collins died of natural causes early Saturday Morning at Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Mississippi. Collins appeared in numerous movies and played a variety of guest roles in such shows as Perry Mason, The Love Boat and Ironside just to name a few. He won an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show host in 1983. Collins was 74 and is survived by his three children, Mary, Guy and Melissa.
