The cast of the first All-Star Celebrity Apprentice on NBC has been announced and will bring together past competitors from previous seasons to compete for the $250,000 prize. They include: Trace Adkins, Stephen Baldwin, Gary Busey, Dennis Rodman, Penn Jillette, Lil Jon, Bret Michaels, Dee Snider, Marilu Henner, La Toya Jackson,Omarosa,Claudia Jordan, Brande Roderickand Lisa Rinna. The season begins shooting this week and is slated to air in March 2013.

MTV aimed to promote the upcoming relaunch of MTV2’s This Week in Jams with a movie marathon this past weekend on MTV. The network was slated to air flicks such as How High, Notorious and 8 Miles as part of its “A Hip-Hop Homecoming Weekend.” This Week in Jams is scheduled to premiere on October 28 at 11a on MTV2. The show is a relaunch of Sucker Free Countdown and will include news, music, and talk in the hip-hop world as well as music.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network plans to premiere new docu-series Married to the Army: Alaska November 18 at 10p before moving it to its regular time on Mondays at 10p starting November 19. The series covers the lives of army wives living in Alaska whose husbands are in Afghanistan. Prior to the premiere, OWN has slated a two-hour special Oprah’s Favorite Things: 2012, marking the return of a popular Oprah franchise to air before the holiday season.

Actor, TV show host and former master of ceremonies for the Miss America Pageant, Gary Collins died of natural causes early Saturday Morning at Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Mississippi. Collins appeared in numerous movies and played a variety of guest roles in such shows as Perry Mason, The Love Boat and Ironside just to name a few. He won an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show host in 1983. Collins was 74 and is survived by his three children, Mary, Guy and Melissa.
