PBS stations nationwide are set to debut new cooking series, Martha Stewart’s Cooking School the weekend of October 6 and 7 (check local listings). The half-hour weekly show will offer home cooks a culinary master class with the opening episode spotlighting the egg. The series is a co-production of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in association with WETA.

Sunday’s third season premiere of Mira Quien Baila! (Look Who’s Dancing!) on Univision reached close to 7.6 million total viewers that watched all or part of the three-hour show. The premiere, airing from 8p-11p delivered an average audience of 3.6 million total viewers.

The Dr. Oz Show, hosted by Mehmet Oz, M.D. launched its fourth season in national syndication beginning yesterday. Highlights during this opening week include Dr. Oz on Wednesday chatting with First Lady Michelle Obama for the first time about her health concerns regarding her family and exclusively sharing two new health issues pertaining to her Let’s Move! initiative. The Dr. Oz Show is cleared in more than 99% of the US and is co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and is distributed by SPT.

TV Land is bringing back the classic sitcom The Cosby Show to primetime. Beginning yesterday, TV Land now airs the Bill Cosby-starring show in a one-hour block weeknights from 8p-9p. The Cosby Show will also air two weekend marathons this Saturday from 5p-9p and also on Sunday from 930a-230p.

Jack Osbourne will serve as executive producer on a new 16-episode series for Nat Geo WILD titled Alpha Dogs. The half-hour series follows the training behind an elite force of K-9s dedicated to serving our country with police departments, the Secret Service and each branch of the military. Rob Worsoff will also executive produce along with Osbourne as their Schweet Entertainment, LLC banner produces.

Just before the premiere of its 38th season, NBC’s Saturday Night Live added three newcomers to its cast roster. Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong will become the new featured players. The threesome all hail from the Chicago improve scene including Second City which launched the careers of past SNL cast members John Belushi and Bill Murray.
