ABC renewed reality series Wipeout for a sixth season which will include its 100th episode set to air in 2012-13. The new season will be hosted by John Anderson, John Henson and co-hosted by Jill Wagner. Endemol USA produces the series.

For 2013, Bravo Media renewed It’s a Brad, Brad World for a second season featuring fashion stylist Brad Goreski and offers up a new series Courtney Loves Dallas. The latter series stars Courtney Kerr of Most Eligible Dallas as she traverses the Dallas social scene with her friends in this docu-series. It’s a Brad, Brad World is produced by Shed Media U.S. and Television 360 while Courtney Loves Dallas is from Pink Sneakers Productions.

Charlie Sheen’s sitcom Anger Management on FX received a 90-episode order from the network. FX says Anger Management has averaged 4.53 million total viewers and 2.5 million among A18-49. Once Anger Management met a designated average ratings bar for the airings of eight of the first ten episodes, then an automatic 90-episode order was triggered by FX. Martin Sheen will also join the cast of Anger Management in a recurring role playing Martin Goodson, Charlie’s father. Lionsgate Television produces the series that is distributed by Debmar-Mercury.

E!’s Ross Mathews will be reporting from both the Republic and Democratic Conventions offering the network’s perspective on issues and cultural news. Pop And Politics segments will air during E! News during the next two months leading up to the November 6 election. Mathews will also report from the convention floor and cover the parties and the celebrities in attendance at both conventions.

Sony Pictures Television and executive producer Shawn Ryan (The Last Resort) and actor Eddie Murphy are shopping a television version of Beverly Hills Cop, the 1984 film from Paramount that starred Murphy. The duo took their pitch to broadcast networks this week.
