Apparently, NBC’s Today co-host Ann Curry will not exit NBC News. Reportedly, Curry is in negotiations with NBC executives to move into a new role with the network though will not continue as co-host of Today. Savannah Guthrie, who currently co-hosts the 9a hour of Today with Natalie Morales and Al Roker has been offered a promotion to co-host the main broadcast alongside Matt Lauer. NBC has yet to make an official announcement.

New docu-reality series In the Big House chronicles the West Hollywood-based Verdis family when the series debuts on Logo July 23 at 10p. The series follows members of the Verdis clan, described as a new type of modern family with over-the-top personalities who also own one of LA’s top gay bars. The eight-episode, half-hour series is executive produced by Jenny Daly (T Group) and Rob Lobl.

First season sitcom Men at Work was renewed for a second run by TBS. Airing on Thursdays at 10p, Men at Work currently ranks as one of basic cable’s Top 5 new series among A18-49 for the quarter. TBS ordered 10 episodes for season two which will premiere next year. Breckin Meyer created and co-stars in the series produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fanfare.

A third season of Strange Sex debuts July 15 at 10p on TLC. The series explores strange sexual conditions, fetishes and the science behind sexual attraction. The series is produced for TLC by Sirens Media.

CBS’ The Good Wife continues to hire more high-profile actors for season four. Nathan Lane is joining in a recurring role as a bottom line-obsessed manager imposed on Lockhart & Gardner by the bank to cut costs and get the firm back to fiscal health. Lane’s character will lock horns with Will, Diane and everyone else at the firm. Lane will make his first appearance in the September season premiere.
