NBC announced its schedule of premiere dates for the new Fall 2012 primetime lineup. The network kicks off its new season with commercial-free sneak previews of the new comedies Go On August 8 following the evening coverage of the 2012 London Olympic Games and Animal Practice on August 12, airing after the Closing Ceremonies of the London Olympics. On August 13, NBC will debut its new competition series Stars Earn Stripes with a two-hour episode at 8p followed by an advance season premiere of Grimm at 10p.

Season three of Bachelor Pad returns to ABC’s schedule this summer on July 23 with a two-hour premiere episode at 8p. The new season features fifteen male and female players from the network’s Bachelor franchise who gather together at the mansion to live together and attempt a second chance at love while competing for $250,000. Chris Harrison hosts Bachelor Pad which is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television, the same production companies behind The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Tonight, ABC will air two specials spotlighting legendary tightrope walker Nik Wallenda as he attempts to cross a highwire suspended 173 feet over Niagara Falls. ABC will first air Countdown to Niagara: The Greatest Megastunts of All Time at 8p followed by Megastunts: Highwire Over Niagara Falls Live! at 9p. These specials are anchored by Josh Elliott and ESPN’s Hannah Storm with reporting from Elliott, Storm, Bill Weir and Sam Champion. In addition to ABC’s specials airing tonight, SCIENCE debuts the new series Danger By Design next Monday at 9p documenting Nik Wallenda and his family as they create more death-defying stunts using science, skill and discipline. Danger By Design is produced by RelativityREAL/The Jay and Tony Show for SCIENCE.

Nominees for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced by Kerry Washington, star of ABC’s Scandal and Nick Offerman, star on NBC’s Parks and Recreation on July 19 at 540a PT. The pair will relate the list of nominees along with TV Academy chairman/CEO Bruce Rosenblum from the Leonard H. Goldenson Theater in North Hollywood. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on ABC September 23 from L.A. Live’s Nokia Theatre hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

For the fifth time, CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is the most-watched TV program in the world after receiving the International Television Audience Award for a Drama TV Series at the 52nd Monte Carlo Television Festival yesterday. This is the fifth time in seven years CSI has been granted this honor which is based on stats from Eurodata TV Worldwide that tallies the highest ratings worldwide in 2011 across five continents. CSI’s star Ted Danson was at the Monte Carlo Television Festival to accept the award for the series. CSI amassed more than 63 million viewers globally.

A second season of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding was ordered by TLC just before the series’ season one finale airs this Sunday at 10p. The series, which highlights the hidden culture and outrageous wedding celebrations of American Gypsies, averaged 1.6 million viewers to date. In addition, TLC will air the one-hour special My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding: The Stanley Sisters, featuring Gypsy sisters Nettie, Mellie, Kayla and Laura on July 1 at 9p followed on the same night by a reunion special titled My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding: The Aftermath at 10p. The series is produced by Firecracker Films for TLC and Peacock Productions is behind the My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding reunion special for the network.
