Veteran film actress, Ann Rutherford died Monday in Beverly Hills at the age of 94. She came out of retirement in the 1970s to appear in a few more movies and was also known for her role in the TV series The Bob Newhart Show playing Suzanne Pleshette’s mother. Ms. Rutherford also turned down the role of Rose Calvert in James Cameron’s 1997 film Titanic which went to Gloria Stuart. Over the years, she also made various appearances at Gone with the Wind anniversary events.
