Lifetime approved a new docu-series, The Houston Family Chronicles (wt) that allows viewers inside the lives of the late Whitney Houston’s family. The series will chronicle Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager; Pat’s daughter, Rayah; Whitney’s brother, Gary; daughter, Bobbi Kristina; and her mother, Cissy Houston. The series will follow Whitney’s family as they pick up the pieces following the untimely death of the pop star icon. Lifetime has ordered 10 one-hour episodes which will premiere this year produced by Jarrett Creative.

This fall, VH1 will answer the question, what has happened to popular TV, movie and pop stars from the last 20 years? The series Miss You Much, hosted by actress/comedienne Catherine Reitman will answer this question by profiling three favorite stars of the past each week. Miss You Much will have 8 half-hour episodes slated to premiere in September. A few of the celebrities profiled include Jamie Walters of 90210, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Lark Voorhies from Saved By the Bell, Jeremy Jackson of Baywatch among others. The series is executive produced by Shelly Tatro, Karla Hidalgo and Jeff Olde for VH1.
