The 2012 TV Land Awards is celebrating the 10th Anniversary show this Sunday. Honorees includes the casts of “Laverne & Shirley”, “In Living Color”, “One Day At A Time”, “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse”, “Murphy Brown”. Aretha Franklin receives the Icon Award and The B52’s perform.
Based on network research analysis, the Canadian primetime soap The L.A. Complex on The CW has now become the lowest-rated-in-season broadcast drama debut on record. Tuesday’s series launch had 646,000 total viewers and posted a 0.3/1 among A18-49. On Wednesday, The L.A. Complex delivered more viewers with a repeat of episode one than the series launch at 721,000 total viewers.

A new unscripted series on Lifetime will delve into modern gender roles and what happens when women leave town and the men have to run their own households, businesses and the community on their own. The Week the Women Went debuts June 6 with a 90-min episode starting at 10p. This limited series, set in Yemassee, South Carolina is based on a British social experiment and is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. One-hour episodes will continue on June 13 and June 20 at 10p. The series ends on June 27 with a two-hour finale starting at 9p.

Steven Seagal’s crime drama series True Justice was picked up for a second season by REELZCHANNEL. The network gave the upcoming new season 13 episodes. True Justice is the first original scripted drama series for REELZCHANNEL and season one premiered on March 30.

National music television network, Fuse, part of the Madison Square Garden Company is airing the 2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS on June 17 at 9p. The awards will be based in Toronto to simulcast the awards show for the third straight year. Prior to the awards show, which will feature stars such as Katy Perry, Fuse will air the Red Carpet special at 8p.

Production has started in Los Angeles for Men at Work, the new original comedy series for TBS produced by Sony Pictures Television. Breckin Meyer created the sitcom about four buddies who work together at a magazine. The ensemble cast includes Danny Masterson, Michael Cassidy, Adam Busch, James Lesure and Meredith Hagner. Men at Work is set to debut May 24 with back-to-back episodes at 10p.

New and returning series for MTV: Snooki & JWOWW debuts June 21 at 10p and the comedy Awkward marking its second season debuts on June 28 at 1030p. MTV is also renewing MTV2’s Guy Code for a second season and will add the series to its schedule this July. The second season of Teen Wolf will debut over two nights beginning June 3 at 11p and with part two airing at 10p the next night. MTV is also bringing back Jerzdays on Thursday nights and adding in a female twist.
