More episodes were added to two of Travel Channel’s newest original series orders a week before their premieres. Hotel Impossible has five added episodes taking the first season to a total of 13 one-hour episodes featuring Anthony Melchiorri as the “hotel fixer.” Hotel Impossible debuts next Monday at 10p and is produced by Atlas Media Corp. for Travel Channel. Six more episodes were added to the order for Baggage Battles making its first season total 12 half-hour episodes. Baggage Battles premieres April 11 at 10p and 1030p with back-to-back episodes following three teams of auction specialists who travel to airport auctions where bids are placed on items lost in transit or confiscated by police. Baggage Battles is produced by MY Tupelo Entertainment for Travel Channel.

HBO set the series premiere date for Aaron Sorkin’s drama, The Newsroom starring Jeff Daniels on June 24 at 10p. The series also stars Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel, Olivia Munn and Sam Waterston. The inaugural season of The Newsroom has 10 episodes. Prior to this, HBO will premiere the fifth season of True Blood on June 10 at 9p.

Bravo is bringing back a slew of returning series: Flipping Out (season six); Tabatha Takes Over (season five); Million Dollar Decorators (season two); Top Chef Masters is back this summer for a fourth season; Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles (season five); Chef Roble & Co. (season two); Pregnant In Heels debuts its second season May 15 at 10p; and Inside the Actor’s Studio with host James Lipton continues for an 18th season.

Tuesday’s season five debut of Giuliana & Bill on The Style Network at 8p became the series’ most-watched season premiere to date across several demos. The season opener posted 528,000 total viewers, 283,000 with W18-49 and 155,000 with W18-34.

Media company Veria Living focused on wellness programming and related lifestyle content has commenced production on the new original series Good Food America with Nathan Lyon. Former Next Food Network Star finalist and author Chef Nathan Lyon will travel across America to find the healthiest places to eat. Lyon will visit restaurants in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, New York and more and production will continue through mid-May. Two Rivers Pictures is producing. Lyon is also the co-host of the PBS series Growing A Greener World.
