Docu-series Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s produced by Pilgrim Studios returns to OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network with new episodes beginning March 31 at 9p. The series is about former Ikette Miss Robbie Montgomery and her family as they run their St. Louis soul food restaurant, Sweetie Pie’s. Following at 10p, OWN debuts new eight-episode one-hour original series Beverly’s Full House featuring supermodel Beverly Johnson and her family as they reunite and live under the same roof. Beverly’s Full House is produced by Good Clean Fun.

As of yesterday, Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report resumes production on new shows after suddenly halting production last week. The show, starring Stephen Colbert, did not offer an official reason for the abrupt cancellation of tapings though reports circulated saying Colbert’s 91-year old mother had health concerns.

Last Thursday, Univision aired the 24th annual edition of the Latin music awards show, Premio Lo Nuestro that amassed 10.8 million viewers tuning in to all or part of the live three-hour broadcast. The awards show also delivered an average audience of 5.6 million total viewers as well as 3.1 million among A18-49 and 1.8 million with A18-34.

Former Friends star Matthew Perry landed a recurring role on CBS’ The Good Wife. Perry will play Mike, a charming Chicago attorney who will head a top-notch panel investigating a suspicious police shooting. Perry’s first appearance will be in the March 25 episode.

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz will join Marc Cherry’s pilot for ABC titled Devious Maids. Ortiz will play Marisol, one of the four maids who all have ambition and individual dreams and work for the wealthiest families in Beverly Hills. Dania Ramirez has also been cast in the pilot.

Daytime soap NBC’s Days of Our Lives is bringing back Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny) to reprise his role as Shane Donovan, per THR. Shaughnessy previously played his role as an ISA agent from 1984 to 1992, in 2002 and more recently in 2010. His first appearance on Days will be the May 2 episode.
