New weekly weight-loss series Dale con Ganas (Give It Your All) will debut on UnivisionNetwork January 11 at 10p. Hosted by Alfonso “Poncho” de Anda, co-host of Univision’s morning show Despierta America (Wake-Up America), the series follows four Hispanic families who compete against each other as they transform their bodies and their lives. As every participating family wins by improving their health, the final winners will additionally receive a grand prize package of $100,000. The series is co-produced by 25/7 Productions (NBC’s The Biggest Loser) and Estefan Film and Television Productions in association with Univision Studios.

At the TCA tour, FOX revealed it is establishing a new division to head the development and production of alternative animated series, shorts and user-adapted content to fill a new late-night animated programming block and a new digital multi-platform network. Spearheading this new unit is former Adult Swim Head/Program Development and Executive Producer, Nick Weidenfeld in an exclusive deal with FOX. Additionally, producer Hend Baghdady was tagged as Executive In Charge/Production. FOX’s new animated late-night block will air on Saturdays from 11p to 1230a and will contain four new animated series each season beginning January 2013. FOX’s new digital channel will cover online, mobile apps, game consoles and VOD beginning this year and featuring 50 original short-form pieces each year, online windows of FOX animated shows and user-adapted content.

Musician/actor Harry Connick Jr. landed a four-episode run on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU beginning with the January 18 episode. Connick will play a dedicated, by-the-book assistant D.A. named David Haden who becomes a love interest for Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay).

Marcia Gay Harden was cast in the lead for a new comedy pilot called Isabel about a normal middle-class family that struggles with ordinary events while raising a daughter (Grimm’s Sophia Mitri Schloss) who possesses magical qualities. Harden will play the mother.
