Surviving elimination, two more editions are on tap for CBS’ Survivor which will air during the 2012-2013 season. These two upcoming cycles will mark the 25th and 26th editions of television’s longest-running reality competition series. Jeff Probst will continue as host and executive producer for all three upcoming editions. Currently in its 23rd cycle, Survivor: South Pacific is averaging 12.27 million viewers and a 3.8/11 rating/share among A18-49. The 24th edition of Survivor opens February 15 at 8p. Joy Behar will no longer pull double duty as host of two shows as her HLN primetime program The Joy Behar Show will end after airing two years. The network has decided to not continue the primetime show though taping will continue through mid-December. Following its finale, another HLN show will move into the 10p slot. A new programming lineup will be announced by HLN soon. Behar will continue as host on ABC’s The View.

Two shows on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network received additional episode orders. The network gave 8 additional eps to the docu-series Our America with Lisa Ling taking the second season to 16 total eps. Frosh docu-series Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s received 10 additional eps taking its first season up to 18 total eps. Airing on Sundays at 10p, Our America with Lisa Ling averages a 0.36 rating with W25-54 and 405,000 total viewers while new series Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s airing on Saturdays at 9p averages a 0.38 rating with W25-54 and 388,000 total viewers. The new episodes of Our America with Lisa Ling will cover topics such as pageant kids, the lifestyle of swingers among others and are presently in production to air next spring. Additional episodes of Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s will commence production in December to also air in the spring.

Ricki Lake goes from ABC’s Dancing with the Stars to hosting another talk show as The Ricki Lake Show has been cleared in more than 50% of the US for a September 2012 debut. The new syndicated talk show, distributed by Twentieth Television, Inc. and produced by Monet Lane Productions was sold to the FOX Television Stations and Tribune Broadcasting stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. Former Saturday Night Live cast member, Nora Dunn is joining ABC’s upcoming new sitcom Don’t Trust the B—– in Apartment 23, reports EW. Dunn will play Joyce Barron, a tough financial businesswoman who hires series star Dreama Walker’s character June as her intern. ABC has not announced its midseason schedule yet though this series is expected to be part of the lineup.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak will have her dream wedding and the preparations leading up to it documented in Bravo’s new series Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding. Supermodel Beverly Johnson will be featured in a new docu-series, Beverly’s Full House premiering on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network next February. The series follows Johnson at home in Palm Springs, CA as she reunites with her adult daughter Anansa, a plus-size model, her son-in-law David, a former NFL player and their newborn baby. Despite a past strained relationship between mother and daughter, Anansa and her family move into Johnson’s home to get ahead financially and to work on their relationship. Cable’s longest-running animated series South Park got an extension to remain on Comedy Central for three more seasons. The new deal between Trey Parker and Matt Stone with Comedy Central assures the series will serve up original episodes through 2016, marking its 20th season. The duo’s current deal takes South Park through 2013. Parker and Stone will continue their present duties with the show as writers, directors and editors. South Park just wrapped its 15th season last night which averaged more than 3.5 million total viewers per episode. Comedy Central first premiered South Park on August 13, 1997.

Yesterday NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution updated its clearance status for new national syndicated daytime talk show Steve Harvey that is premiering in fall 2012. The one-hour talk show produced by Endemol USA and hosted by TV personality/comedian/radio show host and author, Steve Harvey has been sold in more than 70% of the US representing 40 of the top 50 markets. Steve Harvey was sold to station groups including NBC Owned Television Stations, Fox Television Stations, CBS Television Stations, Hearst Television, Cox Communications, Capitol Communications Company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Local TV and Lin Television. Recent station groups picking up the talk show in the last week are Gannett, Gray, Post Newsweek, Weigel and Young among others.

A spin-off series of Mob Wives is in the works at VH1. The network is in pre-production on the new series Mob Wives: Chicago slated to air next spring. Casting for the four main cast members is underway and VH1 ordered 10 episodes. The sophomore season of the original Mob Wives is due to premiere on January 1 and VH1 is bumping up its order from 10 eps to 12. The first season of Mob Wives, airing last April through June, averaged 1.3 million viewers per episode. Weinstein Co., Electus, Left/Right and JustJenn Productions are behind Mob Wives.
