Season one of FOX’s Terra Nova will end with a two-hour finale scheduled for December 19. FOX also said yesterday it will hold off on running new episodes of New Girl until after November 1 when the network’s coverage of the World Series is over. Fresh eps of New Girl were set to air tonight and next Tuesday. Instead, The X-Factor will now extend to two hours both nights.

ABC has reversed its decision made during last May’s Upfronts on the name of upcoming comedy Apartment 23 going back (almost) to the original title of Don’t Trust The B—- in Apartment 23. ABC has not yet set a date for the comedy though it is likely to premiere sometime this season.

New original series, My Family Recipe Rocks! hosted by TV personality/actor and former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone debuts next January on the Live Well Network. The half-hour program will feature stories of homegrown cooks and their special recipes from around the country. The series is produced by ABC O&O KFSN-TV in Fresno, CA. The Live Well Network is a broadcast, online and wireless service for digital channels in local markets. The network presently reaches 47% of the US TV households and is operated by the ABC Owned Television Stations Group.

Monday’s series premiere of The Rosie Show at 7p on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network attracted 497,000 total viewers and delivered a 0.44 rating with W25-54. Following at 8p, OWN debuted new series Oprah’s Lifeclass with 333,000 total viewers and a 0.40 rating among W25-54.

Courtney Cox and David Arquette have sold a comedy with penalty titled Ten Years to NBC. The project is from ABC Studios and is a singl -camera comedy written by Howard Morris about the 10-year relationship of a recently separated couple in the center of a group of friends and family. Cox, Arquette and Morris will all serve as executive producers. NBC also picked up a drama project called The Next Insanely Great Thing from writer Daniel Taplitz. Based on a true story, the drama is about suburbanites who agree to become test subjects for a high-tech company’s social media experiments. Ian Sanders and Kim Moses are the executive producers along with Taplitz. ABC Studios is also producing this project.

Actress Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock, Scrubs) and her author/producer husband, Max Handleman sold a single camera comedy titled Dave’s Dead to FOX, reports THR. 20th Century Fox Television is producing the project; Banks and Handleman will serve as non-writing executive producers on the project. Eric Siegel and Eric D. Wasserman are set to write and also executive produce Dave’s Dead.

Comedian Janeane Garofalo joins the cast of Delocated on Adult Swim. Season three is currently in production on the half-hour live-action comedy series. Adult Swim airs Delocated on Sundays at 9p and will debut the new season early next year. Garofalo will play Susan Shapiro, the head of the television network that produces the reality show about Jon (Jon Glasser) a man in the witness protection program.

FX’s Justified tapped Neal McDonough (Desperate Housewives, Boomtown) and Mykelti Williamson (Boomtown, Forrest Gump) as bad guys for the third season. McDonough will play recurring character Quarles, a sharp-dressed Detroit mobster who comes to Kentucky with visions of becoming a crime lord. Williamson will play Limehouse, a man who lives in a small black town in Harlan County who will do whatever it takes, legal or not, to protect his holler. Justified’s third season returns in January and viewers will meet both characters early in the season. Production on the 13 new episodes began this past Monday.
